The Paletteers 2024 Calendar of Events

 
May-September:  We have the Vermont Granite Museum
For the summer season to show art starting in May. Dates will be announced. Volunteers will be needed.
Drop off and install, May 11  10:00 - 12:00
Show closes July 31

 Each artist will have a 38"w x 69"h panel.  It can be art that you have shown with the Paletteers before.

May 12   Members meeting.  5:30 to 8:00 Program to be announced.

May 14 Paint-in (Tuesday) 5:30 to 8:00 
Bring your paints.  We will have a few short demos by members in in different mediums.
 If you have questions about you work or framing, we will try to help.
There will be light refreshments.  If you wish to contribute to this, it will be much appreciated. 
This will all take place in the Milne room at the Aldrich Library in Barre.
 
May 18   Members show in the Barre, Aldrich Library, Milne Room. 
Drop off and hanging 5/18 10 to 11:30.
Bring up to three paintings for this show. 
Dues must be paid to be eligible for this show.
 Pick up June 29, 10 to 12. Volunteers will be needed.
 
July 8-12. Monday -Friday, Landscapes in Vermont. By Jeneane Lunn
A demo each day in pastel but participants may paint in the medium of their choice. 
     Morning class 9-12:30 in a variety of locations around Central Vermont.
Vermont Granite Museum if the weather is bad
Paletteer members $80 and non-members $100 for the week.
 
July 25, 26th and 27, Heritage Festival.
Set up for show will be July 19 and 20 Reception date to be decided.
Show comes down September 6 or 7. (to be decided)
All entries for this show must be work that has not been shown in a Paletteer show before.
Many volunteers will be needed.
