"For over forty years of serious study in various mediums I have been creating art in pastel, oil and tempera paint.  A large portfolio of my work was painted  outside on location in Vermont. Today my portfolio is focused on people. Designing the composition and depicting subjects in harmonious, caring relationships with one another  is an important aspect of my figurative work. I use tempera because of it's vibrant color. Similar  to oil paint it can be applied opaque with broad brushwork, transparent glazing and works well for tiny detailing. Tempera is  known to be a time durable medium lasting hundreds of years.  It is my pleasure to share this art with you and  hope it brings joy to my audience."
