Paletteers Summer Show
July 25 - 27. 2013 Aldrich Public Library, Barre, VT
Thursday 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., Friday 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., Saturday 8:00 a.m - 3:30 p.m.
This year's show is dedicated to Al Comi, one of the original Paletteers. Al died in 1986, but his artwork is remembered as some of the finest ever displayed at our past shows.
A reception (open to the public) is scheduled for 24 July, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Members, please bring an item of finger food to share at the event. Peer judging for winning show entries will take place that evening by member (only) ballot, so please be prepared to vote. Ribbons will be awarded to those voted best in several categories, with a $50 award for the artwork garnering the most votes overall. A People’s Choice Award ($100) will be given at the show’s end, based on votes by the general public attending the show.
